Position Summary

The Sales Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for customers from initial inquiry through delivery and follow-up. This individual will guide customers through the purchasing process while ensuring every interaction reflects the professionalism and customer-first values of Valder’s Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers in person, online, and by phone.

• Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate trailers, vehicles, and accessories.

• Respond promptly to leads, inquiries, and customer requests.

• Prepare quotes, financing information, and product recommendations.

• Conduct product demonstrations and walkarounds.

• Follow up with customers throughout the sales process and after delivery.

• Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

• Utilize social media platforms to promote yourself, dealership inventory, special offers, and customer success stories.

• Leverage your personal and professional network, community connections, and customer relationships to promote inventory, generate referrals, and contribute to dealership growth while maintaining an exceptional customer experience.

Customer Experience Excellence

• Deliver a professional, friendly, and pressure-free buying experience.

• Ensure every customer feels valued, informed, and appreciated.

• Resolve concerns quickly and professionally.

• Stay current on trailer brands, vehicle accessories, and industry trends.

• Assist with dealership events, promotions, and community outreach efforts.

• Contribute ideas that improve customer satisfaction and dealership growth.

• Bring your ideas and experiences to the table.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.

• Ability to build trust and develop lasting customer relationships.

• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred

• Previous sales experience in trailers, automotive, powersports, RV, equipment, or related industries.

• Experience using CRM systems and lead management tools.

• Knowledge of towing, trailers, truck accessories, or vehicle customization.

• Social media and digital communication experience.
