Position Summary

Valder’s VehicThe Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services, vehicle inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks on customer and dealership vehicles. This position plays a critical role in ensuring vehicle safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection

• Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications.

• Check and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and windshield washer fluid.

• Rotate tires and inspect tire condition and tread depth.

• Inspect brakes, suspension, steering, belts, hoses, batteries, and other vehicle components.

• Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and other maintenance items.

• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.

• Maintain accurate service records and repair orders.

• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and according to dealership standards.

Customer Experience Excellence

• Understand that preventative maintenance is essential to customer safety and satisfaction.

• Perform all services with attention to detail and quality.

• Communicate inspection findings clearly to service advisors.

• Help create a positive customer experience through professionalism and quality workmanship.

• Support the dealership’s commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Shop & Team Support

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

• Properly handle and dispose of fluids and materials.

• Assist technicians with additional service work as needed.

• Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities.

• Help maintain shop efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
