We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, accurate diagnostics, and ensuring every customer leaves with confidence in their vehicle. Position Summary

The Automotive Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering repairs that meet or exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Diagnostics & Repair

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on customer and dealership vehicles.

• Diagnose drivability concerns, electrical issues, warning lights, and mechanical failures.

• Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and exhaust repairs.

• Conduct preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid services, and filter replacements.

• Utilize diagnostic equipment and repair information systems to accurately identify issues.

• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.

• Perform vehicle safety inspections and recommend necessary repairs.

Customer Experience Excellence

• Understand that quality repairs directly impact customer satisfaction and safety.

• Complete work accurately the first time whenever possible.

• Communicate findings clearly and professionally with service advisors and management.

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Support the dealership’s commitment to exceptional customer service.

Shop & Team Support

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Properly document inspections, repairs, and recommendations.

• Assist fellow technicians when needed to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities.

• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle systems.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred

• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician.

• ASE Certifications.

• Experience with diagnostic scan tools and repair software.

• Experience with domestic and import vehicles.

• State inspection certification (if applicable).

• Experience with diesel vehicles, towing equipment, or truck accessories.
