How much does a trailer cost?

Do you offer financing?

Is a deposit required to hold a trailer?

In most cases, yes. A deposit can hold a trailer while paperwork or financing is completed.

Do trailers need to be registered?

Registration requirements vary by state and by trailer size.

Do trailers come with a title?

Some trailers come with a title, while others come with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO). This depends on the trailer type and state laws.

Do I need insurance for my trailer?

Insurance requirements vary. Some trailers may be covered under your vehicle policy, while others may require separate coverage. Contact your Insurance Agent for details.

Towing & Compatibility

How do I know which trailer my vehicle can tow?

Check your vehicle’s towing capacity and hitch rating. Never exceed the manufacturer’s recommended limits. If you need assistance, feel free to contact us to help you pick the right trailer.

What hitch size do I need?

Common hitch sizes include 1-7/8″, 2″, and 2-5/16″. The correct size depends on the trailer’s coupler.

Do your trailers come with brakes?

Some trailers are equipped with electric or hydraulic brakes, depending on size and weight. Brake requirements vary by state. Typically, trailers rated at 2990 lbs GVWR are not equipped with trailer brakes.

Maintenance & Safety

How should I maintain my trailer?

Regular maintenance includes checking tire pressure, inspecting brakes, greasing bearings, checking lights, and securing bolts and straps. You can schedule trailer maintenance by contacting Valder’s Vehicles Service Department.

How often should wheel bearings be serviced?

Valder’s Vehicles recommend inspecting or servicing bearings at least once a year or every 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.

What safety checks should I perform before towing?

Always check lights, tire pressure, lug nuts, safety chains, hitch connection, and load security before driving.

Do trailers come with a warranty?

Most new trailers include a manufacturer’s warranty. Coverage and duration vary by brand and component.

Delco Warranty
  • 2-Year Limited Warranty Coverage:
    • Includes the frame, consisting of fenders, crossmembers, side post, exterior walls, roof of rails, bows, and the sub frame. Furthermore, Delco Trailers, LLC warrants its paint application to be consistent with industry standards for 1-year after date of original purchase, with the exception of normal wear conditions and deterioration due to factors such as chipping, scratching, fading, cracks in caulk seams, road sat or tar, damage by animals or pressure washers.
Horizon Warranty
  • 3-Year Structural Warranty Coverage:
    • Horizon Trailers guarantees that the units’ frame and structure are free from defects in materials and workmanship, under “Normal Use and Service”, for a period of three years after the “Warranty Start Date”.
  • 1-Year Component Warranty Coverage:
    • Horizon Trailers guarantees that the units’ parts and components are free from defects, under “Normal Use and Service”, for a period of one year from the “Warranty Start Date”
  • 1-Year Paint Warranty Coverage:
    • Horizon Trailers guarantees that the units paint is free from defects, under “Normal Use and Service”, for a period of 1 year from the “Warranty Start Date”.
Triple Crown Warranty
  • 1-Year Limited Warranty Coverage:
    • Triple Crown Trailers warrants products manufactured by it to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of manufacture (paint and cosmetics carries a 30 day warranty), under normal use and service.
K-Trail Warranty
  • 5-Year Structural Warranty Coverage
  • 5-Year Wiring/Light Warranty Coverage
Legend Premium Trailers Warranty
  • Premium Enclosed* Limited Lifetime
  • Explorer Series* Three (3) Years

Load Trail Warranty
  • Three (3) Year Structural – Limited Warranty:
    • The Load Trail Limited Warranty warrants the structure to be free of defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service for a period of three (3) years after the warranty start date. This (3) year Limited Warranty is on the structure only and is limited to the main frame, cross members, railings and sub-frame ONLY.
  • Two Year Comprehensive – Limited Warranty:
    • The Load Trail Limited Warranty warrants every component to be free of defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and service for a period of two (2) years after the warranty start date.
Sport Haven Warranty
  • 3-Year Structural Warranty Coverage:
    • Manufacturer warrants the frame and welds to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a three-year period from the date of purchase.
  • 1-Year Warranty Coverage:
    • Manufacturer warrants the installation of all other components to be free from defects in workmanship for a one-year period from the date of purchase.
Do you provide repair or service?

Yes, Valder’s Vehicles offer service and repair for many trailer types, including brakes, axles, lighting, and general maintenance.

Who do I contact for warranty issues?

Pickup & Delivery

Can I pick up my trailer the same day?

Same-day pickup is often available for in-stock trailers with completed payment and paperwork.
